WITH THE IMPACT...

Was a member of the Impact’s inaugural edition, in 1993... Played 20 games that year, tops for defenders on the team tied with Patrice Ferri.... Committed the very first foul by an Impact player in club history, May 14, 1993 against the Los Angeles Salsa... Was part of the team’s starting eleven when the Impact beat the Colorado Foxes 1-0 in the playoff final and won the 1994 league championship... Was named Player of the Game for the 1994 Championship final... Also helped Montreal win the regular-season titles in 1995 (17-7 record), 1996 (21-6) and 1997 (21-7)... Played 24 games in 1996, making him one of five defenders to take part in at least 20 games and help Montreal post the best defence in the league with 18 goals allowed in 27 games, a club record at the time... As a defender that brought energy and spirit to the team by patrolling the wing, both on the offensive and defensive sides of the field, played a total of 79 games with the Impact outdoors... Also played for the Impact indoors in the NPSL...

Made his pro debut with the Canadian Soccer League’s Montreal FC Supra... Played for the Canadian national team for a series of exhibition matches preceding World Cup USA 94, against Morocco, Brazil and Spain...


A NEW CAREER

Was head coach of the Canadian team that played at the 2005 Francophone Games, in Niger... Is now technical assistant director at the Quebec Soccer Federation and soccer analyst for the RDS sports network...
