CAREER
AMATEUR
Played his youth soccer in Serbia with FK Zemun before moving to Canada… From 1995 to 1999 was a member of the Burnaby Selects Soccer Club... Was also a member of the British Columbia provincial team at U14, U15 and U17 levels… With the BC U15 team, helped them finish fourth at the 1998 Canadian All-Star championships in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan… In 2005, became the starting goalkeeper for the University of British Columbia… Helped the Thunderbirds to their first Canadian Interuniversity Sports (CIS) national championship title since 1994… The next year, was a CIS All-Canadian Second Team selection and a Canada West First Team member after leading the conference with a 0.78 goals-against-average and a 0.851 save percentage… In 2006, UBC claimed a bronze medal at the Canada West championship in Edmonton, Alberta… In 2007, missed almost the whole season because of his commitments with Toronto FC but helped UBC win their second CIS national championship title in three years with a 2-1 win over Laval University.

INTERNATIONAL
Was one of 18 players to be selected on the Canadian Senior team training camp in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in January 2007… In July 2003 played for Canada’s U20 squad at the US Soccer Festival in Houston, Texas... Registered two wins in that tournament, 2-1 over Honduras on July 27, and 3-0 over El Salvador on July 31… Was called up by Canada's national team to play in a friendly match against Jamaica's national team January 31, 2010, in Kingston.

PROFESSIONAL
Six years after moving with his family to Vancouver, returned to Serbia and rejoined former club FK Zemun for the 2001-2002 season… Made no first-team appearances for the club that season… Was eventually sent out on loan to FK Zmaj Zemun and played 22 games in 2002... After spending the first half of the next season with FK Zemun, moved to Super Liga rivals FK Radnicki Obrenovac in January 2003 but did not play a game… Joined FK Zeleznicar Belgrade in the summer of 2003… Made 34 appearances for the club that season… After spending several seasons in Serbian soccer, returned to Vancouver for his rookie season with the Whitecaps in 2005... Played his first game with the Caps July 16, playing the final 12 minutes of the 3-0 friendly win over English Premier League club Sunderland at Swangard Stadium… Also played with the Whitecaps in 2006 but did not play a game for a second straight season… Despite re-signing with Vancouver for the 2007 season, was transferred to MLS club Toronto FC… Made his debut as a second-half substitute for Greg Sutton on May 23, as Toronto FC drew 0-0 with Portuguese Benfica... Went on to make eight first-team appearances and record two clean sheets with the club... His first shutout came on June 17 in a 4-0 home win over FC Dallas… Also made 10 appearances for Toronto FC’s reserve team. Came back to Vancouver for a third season in the USL First Division… Tallied a record of 3-2-2, with four shutouts and a 0,571 Goal Allowed Average… On the first day of the Impact 2009 training camp, January 7, signed a two-year deal.

2009 SEASON
In his first season with the Impact, tallied five wins and four shutouts in 10 regular season games (900 minutes of play)… Registered a 0,700 Goal Allowed Average… Made his career debut with the Impact on May 17 at Saputo Stadium against Austin… Played his first career game of the Nutrilite Canadian Championship June 18 against Toronto FC… Played the full 90 minutes of the international friendly games against Haiti, July 1st, registering the shutout in a 0-0 tie, and against Syria, July 8, helping the team win 2-1 after facing 15 shots and making seven saves... Won his third career playoff championship, his first with the Impact.
