INTERNATIONAL
Participated in a tournament in Italy with the U20 national team… Was a member of the Canadian team that qualified for the U20 World Cup in 2001... Was invited to National team training camp in preparation for the Gold Cup, in 2005… In 2007, helped Canada reach the semi-final stage during the Gold Cup… Represented Canada in FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in 2008… Helped Canada reach the quarter-final stage of the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup... During his career, scored 15 goals in 29 matches for the Canadian National Team and is the best Canadian scorer in CONCACAF Gold Cup history with six goals.
PROFESSIONAL
This is his 4th stint with the Impact... In 32 regular season games with the Impact (2,235 minutes), has tallied 12 goals and four assists for 28 points… First signed with the Impact in 2000, tallying six goals and two assists, a team record for rookies… After his rookie season in Montreal, joined the Miami Fusion of Major League Soccer for the 2001 campaign… Made a return to the USL with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in 2002 and then joined the Toronto Lynx, where he was the top scorer… Joined the Montreal Impact for a second time in 2003… Helped the Impact finish in the top spot of the standings in 2003, tied with Milwaukee… In 2004, returned to Toronto Lynx as a free agent, finishing the season in fourth place in league scoring with 15 goals and 34 points… Was named the Lynx MVP and was chosen on the second All-League Team... Is back again with the Impact in 2005, after being traded from Toronto in return for Sita-Taty Matondo and Abraham François, on May 19, 2005… In his first game with the Impact in 2005, scored both goals in a 2-1 win against Rochester on May 21… After leaving the Impact during the 2005 season, played in Europe with GIF Sundsvall, IFK Gotenborg, Odd Grenland, AC Horsens and Ingolstadt 04… In 2008, scored 10 goals in 16 matches with Milton Keynes, in English third division… Then joined Toronto FC on June 23, 2009… Scored his first goal in Major League Soccer (MLS) against the Columbus Crew, on July 25. |
